Faithful Families! No cooking (for you!) required!!!

Fellowship with other believers- we all know it’s crucial to our Christian walk, but sometimes it’s so hard to SCHEDULE.  Do you ever find yourself chatting with another nice family at church (with your children running in circles around you) and think to yourself:  I need to get to know them better?

Faithful Families is a small group designed to fit into your busy schedule! We are a mid-week oasis for fellowship among families. Dinner and a babysitter all provided!  We meet two Wednesdays each month, from 6-8 pm at MAFMC.

“Family dinner” begins for everyone at 6.  We eat a simple meal and fellowship together from 6-6:45.  From 6:45-8, older children (Kindergarten through high school) can head off to CLC or youth group.  We have a special class just for 4 year olds, where they can learn Biblical truth in a fun way, and our youngest children (ages 3 and under) are cared for in the nursery by experienced volunteers from our congregation. For that hour, adults enjoy casual small group conversations, a place to share what’s going on in our lives and lift each other up in prayer.  So please, come fellowship and recharge with us. If you and your little ones need to leave earlier than 8 (we all need our beauty rest) stay as long as you can.  All are welcome!  Questions? Contact Adrienne.  Hope to see you there!

So what do we talk about at Faithful Families?

We currently have two small group discussions going. One group is reading and discussing Love and Respect in the Family by Dr. Emmerson Eggerichs.

A second group is reading You and Me Forever: Marriage in Light of Eternity by Frances Chan & Lisa Chan.
